Goodbye incognito, hello internet! My first blog post is an appreciation post, to you, for being here at the very beginning. I hope that the clothes I share inspire you to look at your closet in a whole new way.

A world of opportunities lie on the other side of what you’re wearing and vintage clothes tend to have a powerful result on the wearer. Each piece holding a story of love, heartbreak, hard work, or disaster. Sometimes known, sometimes unknown, the pieces carry the generations that they came from with their music, cinematography, art and lifestyle, promising a portal into a different time of beauty and simplicity. Asking us to redefine modern ideologies and norms by finding new waves of thought and identity. The past may seem so obviously the past with things like technology or race cars, but not so much with the revolutionaries who pushed boundaries to bring us to the generation that we live in today. Who broke barriers where invisible cages kept voices captive and rights taken away. Keeping in mind that fashion is the one and only thing that you cannot leave your house without, unless being nude is accepted in your city. It carries life-changing potential to those who consciously choose their clothing and head out into the world with confidence and grace.

Fashion has been an ever loyal friend to me, helping me move through my personal phases of life, establishing an identity through each chapter and reminding me that no matter what I’m going through, a shoulder padded vintage leather blazer will always make going out easier when I don’t feel like it, and a whole new door could open through that late night dinner.
